Amanda & Brandon's Wedding at Crystal Springs Resort

Amanda and Brandon had an elegant autumn wedding at Ballyowen, one of Crystal Springs Resort's lovely settings. They chose to do both a first look session and family formals before the ceremony so they could spend as much uninterrupted time with their guests as possible.  You may remember Amanda and Brandon from an earlier Central Park engagement session blog entry.

Jenna & Anthony's Wedding at Blue Event Center

Jenna is smart, petite and portable!  Tony is tall, talented and strong. To his bride's delight, he spontaneously scooped her up while we were walking to our next location.  This fun-loving couple and their bridal party kept me smiling all day with their high-energy and humor!

James and Nicole had an absolutely beautiful wedding day this fall in Bethlehem. Ali & Ed's Wedding at The Bank Street Annex

Ali and Ed had an elegant December wedding at the lovely Bank Street Annex in Easton, Pennsylvania. The 1929 art deco architecture of this vintage venue, the former Easton National Bank building, never fails to inspire me.

After their romantic candlelight ceremony, the entire bridal party strolled up the block under the bright lights of Historic Downtown Easton.

Best of The Knot for 2013!

Who takes the (wedding) cake, and why

Is feeding cake to each other a public display of nurturing, or a preview of how well a couple will resolve those   conflicts that inevitably surface in every long-term relationship?  Does a joke carried too far prompt retaliation? Or is this a reassuring  glimpse of how good-natured and playful they can be and how they'll achieve peace and harmony?

You decide.  Whatever the case may be, it's always a suspenseful moment for wedding guests who enjoy watching this amusing tradition and sometimes theatrical performance unfold.
