Ali & Ed's Wedding at The Bank Street Annex

Ali and Ed had an elegant December wedding at the lovely Bank Street Annex in Easton, Pennsylvania. The 1929 art deco architecture of this vintage venue, the former Easton National Bank building, never fails to inspire me.

After their romantic candlelight ceremony, the entire bridal party strolled up the block under the bright lights of Historic Downtown Easton.

Lovely Wedding at Historic Hotel Bethlehem

I was lucky enough to be the photographer at Dani and Brad's beautiful Lebanese wedding which took place earlier this year. Preparations began at her sister's house in Forks Township and the ceremony took place in Easton at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. The celebration then continued long into the night at The Hotel Bethlehem.

The bride and groom were lifted onto shoulders during the first dance above the cheering crowd which tossed dollars and clapped for the newlyweds.  The closeness of their family and the sense of community that surrounded this couple throughout the reception was heartwarming to see.

Bank Street Annex Wedding in Historic Downtown Easton

The bride's family originated in Mauritania and the groom's from The Togolese Republic.  Guests traveled from Germany, France, Canada and all parts of the United States to celebrate their wedding at the Bank Street Annex in Historic Downtown Easton, Pennsylvania.  Everyone brought with them the warmth and joy, vibrant color and music of other cultures.

The best man skillfully uncorks vintage bubbly on a vintage trolley in Easton, Pennsylvania.

All the children at the wedding gathered together for a photo with the bride and groom.

This delightful couple started out in West Africa, lived in Paris for a while and settled down in Forks Township.  I'm really looking forward to photographing their international wedding at the Bank Street Annex in Historic Downtown Easton this summer!

Stolen Kisses in a Timeless Place

What a magical place to photograph a wedding and to start the New Year!  Tucked away in Easton's Historic District, The Bank Street Annex is a place that, apparently, time has forgotten.  The building was once The Easton National Bank and was rebuilt in 1929 with an art deco design.  The 40-foot ceiling and balconies on either side of the main floor make this a dramatic space.  The bride's dress looked like it was from another era and the DJ, Robert Hallinan, played some 'vintage' tunes to enhance the effect.

I was delighted to see my friend, Audrey Simons, performing with the other members of the talented ensemble called Mes Amis Strings.

I'm really looking forward to photographing here again this summer.
