Engagement Photo Session in Easton

I just love introducing my bridal couples to the beauty that surrounds me in Easton!  Ali and Ed live in Bethlehem and met me at my house before heading out for our photo session.  I invite all my brides to prepare for their wedding at my home. Ali has decided that she and her bridesmaids would like to get dressed there before her December ceremony at The Bank Street Annex.  My 110-year old Classical Revival house/studio is just minutes from Bank Street, The Club at Morgan Hill and Riverview and provides an elegant backdrop for lovely ladies in formal gowns, high heels, with floral bouquets and jewelry. Several scenes of a wedding with preparations at my house appear in my blog of November 12, 2011.

There was so much fun and laughter during this photo session that I can't wait to photograph Ed and Ali's wedding later this year!

Central Park Engagement Photo Session

I met Brandon and Amanda for the first time in Central Park for their engagement photo session.  It's always fun to meet a couple and try to understand the dynamics at play between them.  And "play" was the operative word.  Brandon makes Amanda laugh with his spontaneous and amusing antics and dry sense of humor.  She's a bit more reserved and they balance each other out perfectly.  I can't wait to photograph their wedding at Crystal Springs Resort this year!  (To enlarge the photo, click on each image.)

Indoor Engagement Photo Session in Easton

Making snow angels outdoors isn't the only engagement photo session option you have in the winter.  Going indoors can be just as fun when you collaborate with a fun and playful couple like Jenna and Anthony who brought along some loaded nerf guns for some "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"-type fun.

  

Engagement Photos at Hacklebarney State Park

Autumn is the perfect time for engagement photo sessions.  When this Eagle Scout and his fiance suggested their favorite state park in New Jersey, I jumped at the chance. 

The scenery was stunning and they were in their element.  

Playfulness and complete trust is what these two have in each other.

I'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding next year.

Chemistry Captured

The spark between people is fleeting and difficult to capture but sometimes in the right environment and under the right circumstances a photographer gets lucky.  This past weekend in Alburtis, PA this young couple forgot about smiling at me and saved their most authentic smiles for each other.  Those are the sweetest smiles of all...the ones lovers give to each other.
